As my husband and I eagerly anticipated the arrival of our first
baby, we began discussing our desire to create a beautiful, happy
and magical nursery. Our dream nursery included a mural
but we weren't sure we wanted to paint it ourselves, hire an artist
or simply buy something and apply it.
After months of fruitless online explorations and endless
visits to traditional childrens stores, home decor
catalogues and childrens boutiques, it was clear that we
wouldn't find anything that fit our style or deliver the quality of
a hand painted mural. Out of the desire to fill this obvious void
in the market and fullfill the dreams of expecting mom's, the idea
for Muralistick was born.
Our goal was simple. Create the look and feel of a
hand painted mural but in the form of a removable and reusable work
of art. As you will see throughout this site, a majority of
our murals have been envisioned, designed and painted by
traditional artists. In addition, we have incredibly talented and
succesful digital artists who designed and painted thier murals on
a computer.
Regardless of how they are created, each mural is
conceived to express a theme that delivers the magic that is
