FAQ
What is a Muralistick?
It is a mural that looks hand-painted on your wall, but
it's actually removable. The inconvenience, time and budget
associated with painting a mural or applying wallpaper simply
disappear. You are now free to experience the fun and ease of
transforming your child's room in a matter of minutes.
Is a Muralistick real art?
Yes! Each mural was originally painted by an
artist using either watercolors, acrylic, oil, or digital paint
brushes.
Why do people say that Muralistick is not a
sticker?
During installation or immediately following, nearly
every customer says,"We can't believe they are stickers....they
look like they are painted on the wall "
How are Muralistick's made?
With lots of love and care (proprietary
processes) and delivered on a self-adhesive matte vinyl
.
What are the advantages of a Muralistick Mural?
-The murals look hand-painted and
are re-moveable.
-Muralistick murals are created through the eyes of traditional
mural artists. The artist visualizes the room as one complete mural
as they create the paintings. This is why our murals appear to be
hand-painted as opposed to a bunch of stickers on the
wall.
For example: If you buy a page (3ft x 6ft) of Fairies
from Muralistick, they will appear to interacting with one another
because they were created that way.
Are the designs already cut out?
Yes, each piece is individually cut out . All you need to
do it peel the piece from the backing and apply it to your
wall.
How do they stick?
There is an adhesive on the back of the material that
allows the Muralistick to stick to the wall. If they are kept clean
and lint/dirt free, they can be re-usable.
How easily are they removed?
By simply placing a fingernail under the edge, the
Muralistick can be peeled off the wall. There is no residue or
sticky glue left behind. The walls and inhabitants of the
room may be sad, but there will be no clean up required.
How many times can the mural pieces be moved and
re-positioned during the initial installation?
On average, a mural piece could be moved if lightly
tacked gently up 5-10 times during the initial
installation. It is extremely important to keep the self
adhesive backing clear of dirt and lint to optimize its adhesive
capabilities.
How easy is it to remove a full mural if I wanted to
take it to another house?
It is very easy to move the mural. Simply peel the pieces
off the wall and lay them on the backing pape they arrived on.
Note: they will not stick completely to the paper. Roll the
backing paper up and bring it to the next house. Re-apply the
mural pieces on the new walls.
Don't worry, we have been doing this for years and it works.
What happens if the mural piece sticks to itself
?
Relax and take a deep breath. Gently peel the edges away
from each other.

to?

use a mild wall paper paste and apply to the section that isn't
adhering to the wall.

room?
