How Do I Install?

Although we provide a suggested layout or design for your wall mural, the magic of the product is its portability. If the dresser needs to move or the crib has to be shifted a few feet, have no fear, the mural pieces can removed and positioned in  new places until you are satisfied with the look and feel of your new room.

Try that with a mural that's painted directly on the wall!

Installation Instructions:

Step 1 - Visualize:

Where will the mural pieces look best on the wall?

• Unroll the mural pages on a bed or the floor
• Remove the backing paper from around each mural piece
• Using your fingertips, gently press tiny areas of each piece to the wall Note: Do not smooth the entire mural piece to the wall (you may re-arrange it later)

Step 2 - Position:

• Arrange and Re-arrange the mural pieces on your wall to create your final composition

Step 3 - Apply:

• Once the pieces are exactly where you like them, use the palm of your hand to gently smooth the entire mural piece to the wall

• Stand back and enjoy the transformation of your child's room!

Additional Recommendations:

Preparation:

• Fresh Paint: If the room is freshly painted, allow 1 week for the paint to totally dry and cure.
• Cleaning: Wipe the walls with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Let them dry
• Rings: Remove all rings from your hands. When smoothing the mural pieces, sometimes the back of your ring will scratch the art.

Installation:

• Backing Paper - Save the backing paper that the mural pieces come on. You will need this if you decide to reuse the mural in another location.
• Sticking - Muralistick pieces sometimes stick to themselves. If this happens…relax and take a deep breath. Gently peel the edges of yoru work of art away from each other and apply them to the wall.
• Airbubbles - When applying large pieces, you may notice an air pocket under the mural piece.  Peel back the corner and re-smooth the area.
